The Stranger’s Tale was a socially engaged photography project funded by Hull City Libraries that explored the experiences of refugees and asylum seekers living in Hull. The project used photography, audio recordings, and storytelling to give voice to a marginalised and often vilified community. The Stranger’s Tale culminated in a public exhibition and a dedicated website, creating a platform for empathy, understanding, and cross-cultural dialogue.
